A long-running name finally became playable
Emre returned from Overwatch's past as a cybernetically altered Damage hero. His history with an earlier strike team gave the reveal narrative weight, but his play pattern was built around a direct modern shooter kit.
The three-round burst rifle can zoom for controlled pressure, while an explosive sidearm adds life-steal to a more aggressive exchange. A frag grenade gives him a familiar way to punish grouped enemies or force movement from cover.
Override Protocol raises the tempo
Override Protocol serves as Emre's ultimate and pushes his augmented body further during a fight. His passive regeneration is also faster than the normal baseline, helping him re-enter pressure after brief disengagements.
The reveal positioned him between precision and attrition rather than as a pure sniper or flanker. Players who manage bursts, explosives, and recovery windows can keep an angle active longer than opponents may expect.
