Gundam Wing Joins the Overwatch Universe
Overwatch 2 is set to launch a collaboration with the beloved anime series Gundam Wing, celebrating its 30th anniversary. This limited-time event will allow players to engage in battles with new Legendary skins inspired by the iconic mobile suits from the series. The event kicks off on April 29 and will run until May 12, 2025.
Legendary Skins and Bundles
Players will get four new Legendary skins, each representing a different character from Gundam Wing. The skins include:
- Deathscythe Reaper, who embodies the stealth and power of the Deathscythe mobile suit.
- Epyon Ramattra, designed to reflect the honor and determination of the Epyon.
- Tallgeese Soldier: 76, bringing the essence of the Tallgeese into the Overwatch battlefield.
- Wing Zero Mercy, inspired by the Wing Zero Custom from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
In-Game Challenges and Rewards
In addition to the new skins, players can participate in in-game challenges to earn additional cosmetics, including the Gundamari weapon charm. The event promises to engage both Overwatch fans and Gundam enthusiasts alike, providing a unique crossover experience.
