Overwatch 2 Season 12 Introduces Juno, the Martian Support Hero

Introducing Juno: The Martian Support Hero

Season 12 of Overwatch 2 has officially launched, bringing with it the introduction of Juno, the first Martian Support hero. Juno is designed to be a versatile character capable of both healing allies and dealing damage to enemies simultaneously. Her unique abilities include the Mediblaster for healing and Pulsar Torpedoes for offensive capabilities, making her a dynamic addition to any team composition.

Juno's Hyper Ring ability enhances team mobility, allowing for quick engagements and retreats, while her Martian Overboots provide exceptional agility on the battlefield. Players will get utilizing her Orbital Ray to empower teammates and break through enemy defenses.

New Game Modes and Skins

Alongside Juno's arrival, Season 12 introduces a new Clash game mode featuring two new maps. This mode promises to offer fresh gameplay experiences for players looking to engage in competitive matches. Additionally, the season features a range of new cosmetics, including the Mythic Anubis Reaper Hero Skin and the Mythic Midnight Sun Ana Weapon Skin, which can be unlocked through the Premium Battle Pass.

The Premium Battle Pass also includes a variety of rewards such as Legendary skins for characters like Bast Doomfist and Oni Ana, as well as Mythic Prisms that allow players to customize their heroes further.

Competitive Updates and Balance Changes

Season 12 also marks a mid-year reset for competitive ranks, giving players a fresh start to climb the competitive ladder. The developers have announced improvements to the Avoid as Teammate feature, aimed at enhancing the matchmaking experience. Additionally, players can expect hero balance changes to adjust the current meta, particularly focusing on mobile heroes that have dominated recent gameplay.
