Overview of the Perks Mini Refresh

The Perks Mini Refresh in Overwatch's Season 2: Summit introduces new gameplay options for several heroes, enhancing their abilities and providing players with fresh strategies. This update aims to increase flexibility in gameplay while maintaining balance across the roster.

Hero-Specific Updates

Ramattra receives the Prolonged Barrier Minor Perk, which boosts the size and duration of his Void Barrier by 25%. This change allows Ramattra to provide better protection for himself and his teammates during engagements.

Pharah gains a new Minor Perk that enhances her Concussive Blast, allowing it to deal up to 50 explosion damage, making her a more formidable presence in combat.

Reaper's new Major Perk, Trigger Finger, refreshes the cooldown of his Dire Triggers ability whenever he uses an ability and reloads, increasing his damage output potential.

Soldier: 76's Full Stride Major Perk gradually increases his sprint movement speed bonus by an additional 25% over 2 seconds, enhancing his mobility during battles.

Mercy benefits from the Double Dose Major Perk, which grants her an additional charge for her Flash Heal ability, allowing for more effective healing in critical moments.

Balancing Changes

In addition to the new Perks, some existing Perks will be integrated into the baseline kits of select heroes. This adjustment is intended to balance the gameplay experience as new options are introduced. Players can expect further details in the upcoming April 14 Patch Notes, which will elaborate on these changes and their implications for gameplay.
