LE SSERAFIM returns to Overwatch with a new September collaboration
Blizzard's August 31 teaser sets September 12 for another collection of skins, emotes and challenges.
The collaboration gets a schedule
Overwatch announced another LE SSERAFIM collaboration on August 31, setting September 12 for its limited-time arrival. The official teaser promised new skins, emotes and in-game challenges. The accompanying rollout put a music video on September 10 and the group's BlizzCon performance on September 13.
The revealed hero selection includes Mizuki, Freja, D.Mon, Anran, Sierra and Moira. That gives this collection a different roster from the earlier collaboration. It also connects the game's newer characters to an established partnership rather than simply reissuing the original promotional lineup.
Three releases, not one interchangeable date
The music video, shop launch and live performance are separate milestones. Watching the video is not the same as purchasing a skin, and the concert date should not be used as the collection's first availability date. Blizzard's social announcement is linked below alongside the contemporary rollout report.
The collection brings together character cosmetics, emotes and other extras, so the item breakdown matters as much as the headline collaboration. Players interested in one particular hero can compare that hero's offer with a larger bundle when the shop opens. The announced September 12 launch is the collection's historical start date, while the September 11 video and September 13 performance are separate parts of the rollout. Current availability should be checked in the game client.
