Calligraphy drives the weapon language
Sumi-ichimonji interprets Genji's blade through ink, brushwork, and dragon imagery. The treatment changes the weapon the player sees throughout a match without replacing Genji's full hero skin.
Reactive splatter builds the theme through successful play. Eliminations do not only produce a score notification; they leave a visual response on the Mythic weapon and connect its art direction to the action.
Flourishes make downtime visible
The release includes two flourishes and a dedicated elimination effect. Flourishes give owners an intentional way to inspect the weapon between fights rather than waiting for a menu animation.
A Mythic weapon can also pair with multiple Genji skins, which changes how players assemble a loadout. Sumi-ichimonji supplies the reactive centerpiece while the selected hero skin determines the rest of the silhouette.
