Six pairings built around character fit
The crossover matched Juno with Hello Kitty, Kiriko with Cinnamoroll, Mercy with Pompompurin, D.Va with My Melody, Widowmaker with Kuromi, and Lucio with Keroppi. Each pairing received a themed hero skin rather than a single collection-wide color treatment.
The collaboration also introduced premium Play of the Game sequences featuring fully realized 3D Sanrio characters. That gave the crossover a visible finish beyond the outfits themselves.
Bundles were optional, challenges were free
Players could buy individual hero bundles or collect all six through a Mega Bundle. The event challenges supplied a separate set of name cards, sprays, player titles, and 12,500 Battle Pass XP.
That split let the event place its headline skins in the shop while still giving every player a track of collaboration rewards during the February 10-23 run.
The campaign extended outside Overwatch
A related Razer promotion ran through March 31 with select Hello Kitty and Friends hardware tied to in-game bundle codes while supplies lasted. Blizzard, Sanrio, and Razer also ran a short social sweepstakes for themed peripheral packages.
The result was one of the broadest lifestyle crossovers attached to the Reign of Talon launch: six in-game identities, bespoke highlight moments, earnable cosmetics, and hardware released under the same campaign.
