The crossover changed the island, not only the shop

Fortnite added areas based on Busan Sanctuary, Hanamura Courtyard, King's Row Tower, and Watchpoint: Gibraltar. Tracer and Mercy appeared as service characters, while Genji and D.Va could be recruited as allies.

The event extended across Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, and Blitz. Community rivalry progress unlocked additional Overwatch payload anomalies, cache chests, a dropship landmark, and sprays.

Two Overwatch tools entered the loot pool

Tracer's Pulse Pistols switched the player to first person and included Blink and Recall behavior. Mercy's Caduceus Staff locked onto a teammate with a healing beam that restored health and shields, while also enabling an aerial glide.

Those items carried recognizable decision-making into Fortnite instead of stopping at visual references. Mobility, recovery, and directed support became part of the island's normal squad fights during the event.

All four heroes became outfits

Tracer, Mercy, Genji, and D.Va were offered as outfits from May 14 through June 4, with matching accessories and LEGO styles. A Porsche Cayenne EV bundle added four decals and a custom wheel set.

The crossover's scale came from the combination: characters, weapons, map references, recruitable allies, community progression, and cosmetics all arrived under one Act III campaign.
