Five days for the final Season 3 climb

Season 3's Competitive Drive is now active and runs through August 10. The window is deliberately short: players have five days to move through the event track before Season 4 begins on August 11.

Drives sit on top of ranked play rather than replacing the normal ladder. Eligible wins add Drive Score, while later losses can pull score back until a checkpoint is secured. Each reached checkpoint becomes the floor for the next part of the climb.

What the six checkpoints contain

The track alternates practical rewards with upgrades to the seasonal Signature shown beside a player's name. Competitive Points are distributed across the reward path, while the cosmetic progresses from Signature to Advanced Signature and finally Elite Signature.

Squad bonuses can make the climb faster, but the useful rule is simpler: finish one checkpoint at a time. A secured checkpoint protects that portion of the event progress even if the next group of matches goes badly.

The Season 3 Signature uses a purple treatment

The current retail files contain purple badge and nameplate-border layers for the Competitive Signature rewards. Payload Wire reconstructed the Elite tier from those separate transparent UI pieces to show how the finished treatment reads around a player name.

Because the game stores the pieces independently, the preview above is a composite rather than a single promotional image. The source layers are preserved from retail build 2.23.1.0.151752, and the sample name exists only to demonstrate the frame.

Do not leave the last checkpoint for Tuesday

The Drive closes August 10, one day before Season 4. That makes Monday the practical deadline rather than Tuesday's normal update window.

Players chasing only Competitive Points can stop at the checkpoints that matter to them. Anyone targeting the full Elite Signature should budget for the entire track and confirm the event timer in game before starting a final session.
