Her second angle can move
Sierra was introduced as Watchpoint Grand Mesa's head of security and a Damage hero who fights beside a combat drone named Dorothy. The rifle-and-drone pairing lets her pressure an area without placing every shot on the same line.
That makes high ground and corner control central to the design. Sierra can hold one position while Dorothy changes what counts as safe cover, creating a crossfire problem that the opposing team has to solve.
Grand Mesa ties her to Overwatch's past
Her story reaches back to the Soldier Enhancement Program: Sierra's mother was its first subject. She joins Overwatch looking for answers connected to Jack Morrison and Gabriel Reyes rather than arriving as an unrelated new recruit.
The reveal therefore joins kit and setting. Dorothy reflects Sierra's security work at Grand Mesa, while her search for the truth gives the facility a personal role in the season's larger Overwatch and Talon conflict.
