D.Mon's kit should feel less sticky

Blizzard's second Season 4 hotfix focused on responsiveness. Surging Strike's cast time fell from 0.15 to 0.05 seconds and its recovery dropped from 0.25 to 0.15. Fusion Repeater's cast time moved from 0.3 to 0.2 seconds, with recovery cut from 0.5 to 0.2.

Those are short windows on paper, but they govern how quickly D.Mon can flow from one action into the next. The reductions make missed inputs and awkward lockouts less likely during close-range sequences.

Hit registration and barrier bugs were part of the problem

The patch fixed Portable Fusion Repeater hit registration, D.Mon's front-facing barrier and parts of her mech hitbox, including the head hitbox. Limit Break overhealth and the console option for Toggle Propulsors were also addressed.

Together, the fixes explain why the update was not simply another damage buff. Blizzard was stabilizing how opponents hit D.Mon and how reliably D.Mon's own attacks connected.

Jetpack Cat loses some escape power

Jetpack Cat's base movement speed fell from six to 5.5 meters per second. Purr's self-healing penalty increased from 25% to 40%, reducing the value Cat receives when using the sustain tool on itself.

The two nerfs target slipperiness and personal durability without removing Cat's team utility. Slower movement also gives opponents a little more time to punish poor positioning.
