The broad balance pass

The September 8 retail patch is the major balance checkpoint for Season 4's second half. It includes D.Mon adjustments, changes across the tank and damage lineups, support tuning and a separate set of Stadium power changes. These are mode-specific notes: a value marked for 5v5 should not automatically be read as a 6v6 change.

Among the practical changes, D.Va's 5v5 mech base health rises from 175 to 200. Kiriko's Suzu invulnerability falls from 0.65 to 0.5 seconds. Baptiste's Immortality Field cooldown falls from 22 to 20 seconds, while its health rises from 125 to 150. Brigitte trades 25 regular health for 25 armor rather than gaining extra total health.

Settings, fixes and the later follow-up

The patch also removes the High Precision Mouse Input setting. Blizzard explicitly says its removal does not change how mouse input works in-game. If your aim feels different, the missing toggle alone is not evidence that the underlying input behavior changed.

For analysis, separate intended balance changes from bugs and from subsequent corrections. September 10, 17 and 22 each received their own follow-up entry. An old September 8 guide can therefore describe a real change without representing the latest state of that hero. Use the linked official monthly notes to check the newest dated entry, and keep Stadium powers separate from the standard hero kit when comparing numbers.
