The rebuilt map is back in ranked rotation

Eichenwalde returned to Competitive Play on August 19 after Blizzard temporarily kept it out of the ranked rotation. Season 4's map update changed key combat spaces, and the re-enable means those routes are once again part of the live ladder.

Players should expect old sightlines and choke habits to be less reliable on the revised version. The map's return matters immediately for hero picks that depend on high ground, long angles and coordinated first-point attacks.

The client patch also repaired account rewards

Banked Battle Pass tier skips held before Season 4 were applied correctly, and unclaimed items from the previous season were granted. Those fixes address progression problems that could make earned rewards appear missing after the seasonal transition.

Blizzard also restored missing voice lines for Genji's Mythic skin. The August 19 build was primarily a cleanup patch, but Eichenwalde's ranked return made it consequential for Competitive players.
