Historical event: this rally ran September 1–14 and has ended. September 1 is its start date; Blizzard announced the schedule in its August 10 Season 4 preview.

Support a region through the event

The World Cup Cheer Rally began September 1 and ran through September 14. Blizzard's Season 4 preview described a system for backing the Americas, EMEA and Asia by earning Cheer through event challenges and eligible broadcasts. Players could focus on one region or contribute across the available tracks.

The reward selection included Battle Pass XP, loot boxes, Esports Loot Boxes and regional hero cosmetics. The Americas track featured Venture and Sierra, EMEA featured Freja and Hazard, and Asia featured Wuyang and Juno. Those are the rally's regional selections, not the names of the national teams competing in the World Cup bracket.

Rewards and tournament results remain separate

A regional reward track is a fan-participation feature. It should not be confused with tournament qualification, match predictions or the World Cup champion. A player can support a region through the event without changing how a national team advances.

The September rally is over, so its challenge panel and reward instructions are historical. If a later event uses similar branding, check its own eligibility rules rather than assuming the old progress carries across. The important distinction is between what the event offered, what an individual account actually earned, and what remained claimable before the event closed. Those are separate checks even when a broadcast promotion combines them in one graphic.
