The steepest requirement falls from 20 to 3
One day after Community Crafted opened, Blizzard reduced three event challenge requirements. The largest change applies to Streamer Luck, which asks players to win with different heroes in the mode. Its requirement drops from 20 to 3.
Clickbait Mitigation also receives a major cut. The damage-mitigation target falls from 15,000 to 5,000, leaving players with one third of the original requirement.
- Streamer Luck: 20 different-hero wins reduced to 3.
- Chat, Are We Cooked?: 14 completed challenges reduced to 13.
- Clickbait Mitigation: 15,000 damage mitigated reduced to 5,000.
A progression fix, not a gameplay update
The July 1 hotfix does not alter the creator-built hero kits or the core Community Crafted rules. It changes the event objectives attached to the mode, making the reward path much less dependent on a long list of hero wins and a high mitigation total.
Replay codes from the June 30 client patch remain available, so the hotfix does not force another replay reset.
The mode's schedule stays the same
Community Crafted remains scheduled through July 13. Blizzard lists no extension or reward change with this adjustment; only the three completion requirements move.
