Regional play decided the first global field

North America and EMEA played regular-season matches across three weekends beginning March 21. The top four teams in each region advanced to double-elimination playoffs on April 10-12, where Tokyo qualification became the final stake.

Korea, Japan, and Pacific ran their own round robins and postseasons before sending eight teams into the OWCS Asia tournament. The top two from that bracket earned Asia's Champions Clash places.

Champions Clash was set for May

The first full international event of the season was scheduled for May 22-24 at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi in Tokyo. Eight teams from Asia, China, North America, and EMEA would meet to close Stage 1.

Because the preseason bootcamp had used an early Season 1 build, Stage 1 was the first sustained test of how teams adapted after weeks of live balance and hero development.

Crowdfunding and drops connected viewers to the stage

The Elysian Keeper crowdfunding collection included Legendary skins for Wuyang, Reinhardt, and Lifeweaver, with purchases contributing to the Champions Clash prize pool. Items were also offered through separate hero bundles.

Two broadcast reward tracks added icons, sprays, Battle Pass tier skips, an Esports Loot Box, and other cosmetics. The structure made the regular season useful beyond qualification: every weekend also moved the community reward and prize-pool campaigns forward.
